During holidays, we’re most of the time away from home because we would either be with my family or my in-laws. It has been a sort of tradition that on Christmas Eve, my siblings and I, together with our spouses and kids, would be in our parents’ house to share dinner and open gifts. During New Year’s eve, on the other hand, we’ll be watching fireworks and feast on the food prepared by my in-laws. That is the reason why we have trusted adt for years. It doesn’t cost that much but provides peace of mind that is priceless. There is this one incident I wouldn’t forget when I failed to unplug the flat iron because I was such in a hurry. It burned the iron stand and started a small fire. Fortunately, our ADT monitoring includes smoke and heat sensors. It sent signal to ADT’s monitoring center and they were able to contact us and inform us about the emergency. Good thing that we were still within the town and were able to go back before its too late. Without our home security system, we could have lost all our material possessions in no time. Worse, it could have caused other houses to be burned as well.
